I have Covid. Little spiky dryer balls are bashing me at the cellular level and I feel like that potato chip bag flattened in the gutter so long ago you can’t get those particular chips anymore. Feverish, I happen to read Adrienne Rich’s Dream of a Common Language
Wow! I had a chuckle at your thought about sharing your COVID with republicans. And a secoond thought about wouldn't it be better to really nurture and care for yourself? By the way, where are you so I could drop by some healthy juice from kale, cucumber, carrot, celery, apple, and ginger?
Sorry to hear it got you. Too bad you can't just sneak into the Supreme Court, on a day when the few good people are in the restroom maybe, and sneeze a few times. Get better soon.
I pushed the little "like" button, because I admire your sense of humor shining through, but I certainly don't like that you've been stricken by dryer balls!
Why sleeping on stomach? I sleep on my side, or on my elevated side when I’ve got a cold, such as my first one in 6 years at the beginning of June. Wiped me out more than last time, possibly due to aging, although that one in 2016 was fairly strong. Yes, I tested. Negative. Husband tested twice within a week, also negative.
Until after post-reduction surgery later this year, attempting to sleep while face down will be made difficult due to the size of the girls. Possibly every 3-4 days when my body stops fighting it, I might sleep facedown in my drool. Not good healing sleep.
You have my utmost sympathy for dealing with that virus. Glad you got the Paxlovir. Given the 3? doses of vaccine and all the masking you were doing other than at the class (I hated Dancing On Sunshine), plus the Paxlovir, you should have a mild case (for some Covid value of mild).
I’m assuming you told the instructor: was the transmitting student mentioned by the instructor?
Yep, told the instructor and she's also infected. Gyms are petri dishes. And the business about sleeping on one's stomach has to do with lung function. Apparently the backs of the lungs do the work of distributing oxygenated blood to the body. Lying face-down diminishes pressure and helps them function. Everything's a learning experience, I guess. Coulda skipped this one!
Stay out of petri dishes, even if they blast cool music and you're bored. 2022 is certainly....eventful for you. There's another booster on the horizon, as you no doubt know.
Please take care of yourself Dancing Queen.
Thanks, Dellab. Working on it. But it’s boring!
Lol, most of the stuff we “have” to do is boring. To quote a wise friend of mine, “suck it up, buttercup “. 😉

Sorry to hear this. Heal fast.
Thanks for the reminders. Get well soon.
